Around 6:00-6:40 pm Monday, I was heading on 35W South around that heavy construction area, and I saw a Galaxy Grey Si coupe with Fog Lights driving near me. I caught up to him chalantly, and he didn't like that because he gunned it a little bit.

A little friendly gunning, haha!

Tom, you must have gotten an FA5 then because it was NHBP with 4 doors. BTW, you were gone from work then. We looked.

FBP Mugen Si... Burnsville honda! Probably will sell in a day or two.

My salesman called and said 33,000. His name is John G. He's a good dude.

Also, I thought this was F*&ked up... The reason John called me was because I called him about four weeks ago asking about a RR Si for a friend. He said he could have one in four weeks. My friend decided to order his RR Si through his dealer (not sure which one, but he lives in shoreview) because it was closer to his home. He put $300 down and got on the list. Tonight his dealer called and told him he'd have his car in between Nov 23 - Dec 1. Shortly after that, my dealer calls and asks "Does your friend still want that RR Si? I got one here for sale, it came in today." I thought...wow, my friend has money down on this car. It should be his. I called him, he's going to pick it up tomorrow. I'm sure he's pissed at his dealer. I know I would be.

That's a good price! I hope I can get over there before it's gone! Scott, what's your impression of the car? Does it look better in person?

Jon, VQ Power and I were there last Friday-11/2/07. Our salesman said they were getting two in. I am going over there this Friday to see if they have come in yet. I'll let you know.

General question for those of us in the Twin Cities area:

My car sustained some minor damage in the front due to a hit and run, and I was wondering which dealerships had body/paint shops on their facility. It seems most places "outsource" their body/paint, and I'm not really keen on that.

I know Hopkins has their own place, but..

I don't know of any, I just know of a great body shop. Been going there for over 12 years now...luckily I haven't needed them for a while now. except that paint overspray...but Rasky took care of that.

Sorry to hear about the damage though.

but what? any key collision place will back their work. If you are willing to spend extra, there is a place in Excelsior called Collision and Color. Top notch job

Mike, LaMettry's does great work. They do factory quality jobs and are authorized repair shops for Mercedes, BMW and Audi.
