The lower quality film will fade and turn purple,I have seen 3m window tint film turn purple in 2 years. Will talk to the owner of freeway tomorrow to see if he can give us a better deal.

That's not good. I'm thinking of getting 3M. The worst thing is that they're asking for $200+

doesnt matter the brand of tint you buy if it is a dyed tint, it will turn purple. God could make a tint brand but if he dyed it, it would also turn purple. You want tint that is metallic in nature like. http://www.sun-gard.com/endurance.asp?section=auto on the high side and

http://www.sun-gard.com/performx.asp?section=auto on the low side. oh if you have navigation or xm, use http://www.sun-gard.com/shadow.asp?section=auto

I paid $150 for my whole car, all 5 windows, and it came with a lifetime warranty against fading and bubbling.

man I got everything tinted on my car xcept the winshield for 180 in Philly. And the place uses LLUMAR, full warranty for lifetime ownership of the car w/ the original owner (whihc will always be me lol) and they use computer cut tint. Man it fit so perfect. i was in and out in 1hour! If anyone in the nj/pa area is interested www.carprettyautosalon.com

Here is some info on freeway tint:

They also use LLUMAR film, most of the dealers around the area use them to tint their cars.

cheap= low quality Good quality=not cheap.

Its just like buying cheap projector headlights from ebay..they only last for a couple of months before they start to fade, and water start to get in them.

paying more when you don't need to is the dumbest thing. you never know my place uses high quality film or not. and just look what other people said. basically, 160 isn't good price for a group special. get some common sense.
If you really think 160 is the best price. stick with that price and see how many people want to get done. gluck.
