A mac boost control solenoid is about all you're missing get a 4 port from vit, they are like $50 or something like that. Since you're buying a kit you will not need to purchase any fittings, it will come with all the stuff you need including your oil feed and drain. Don't get a walbro, get a dw300 they are better and like $10 more. For injectors I recommend ID or Go-power 1000cc's. I would also not upgrade the clutch until you need to just stick with the stock one, lots of people have made out well with the stock clutch even at 400whp.

Well it shouldn't. Burning the clutch is better than breaking a gear. A member in here dil2502 or something like that has been putting 490whp through his stock clutch for a while.

Ah yes a 4 bar! Forgot about that. You can get gauges too. Not 100% necessary but good to have. Just an afr and boost gauge is all you really need for a mild build.

Baller. Well my (one of many) plan is once the car is paid off, put the turbo on and run off waste gate DDing the car until I can find a decent DD. Then the real fun with it begins.


So in the end I'll need all the bells and whistles. Just maybe not right away.

Yea the 4 bar and boost controller is all you need to run more boost and those are both cheap and easy to install after the fact. Also I recommend getting a 3 or 4 psi wastegate spring.

What do the tial gates normally come with? I know Will was running off an 8.5psi spring and was still making like 400hp o.O

Good starting list, The PRL kit comes with the goal foil, zip ties, IAT sensor and a lot of the small things other kits leave out. This is a huge bonus to it

I agree, dw300lph pump, direct replacement and flows awesome and is WAY quiter, and get 1000cc ID injectors since you can't really get go-powers anymore i don't think.

If you get a new wastegate it will come with a large varity of springs ranging from 3psi to 11psi.

Like you were already saying, things you will still need

Clutch
Gauges, id say an A/F would defiantly be a good requirement
4 bar map sensor
BBG solenoid
Turbo blanket
Heat wrap unless you get your manifold and dumppipe coated
Lots of Vacuum hose and some t connectors.
Add the cost to upgrade to a garret gtx BB turbo.


I'm sure their is some other stuff But the PRL kit is pretty well stocked up.
Side note, I ran my stock clutch for literally 1 WOT run with good tires before it started slipping badly, id have it replaced at the same time. Having to drop the trans a week later sucks.
And you will not want to drive a boosted car at 3 psi while you get a daily wastegate pressure is BORING!!!!
