im lookin into the DCRH and keeping the rest of my stock exhaust. When i remove the current exhaust manifold for the DCRH, will i still have my stock cat? If not, can i just buy a HFC and bolt that on with the header? i just dont want to have to mod my o2 sensor unless i have to, and i still want to pass emissions...
U wont pass smog without a cat anywhere, unless u do it illegally.
But!!!, u shouldnt have to smog ur car for a while, so my suggestion would be do it, and worry about smog when that time comes. I know here in Cali, we have 6 years til we have to smog a new car.
well, my dad is a stickler not to cheat and lie so im guessin he'll flip **** if i have to mod my exhaust to hopefully pass so i'll stick to the vibrant. reliable, legal, and still more performance
i dont have any personal experience with this yet but some will tell you that it is not recommended to run a header with the stock exhaust. This is why i am waiting to get an exhaust to put my header on...
:woowoo:im selling a vibrant with the high flow cat
