    Hey man,

    Really like your posts about wide tires on normal wheels. Sometimes you have no choice.

    Do you happen to have any picture of the 245/40 on 7 or 7.5 wheels ?

    It is for track duty only.

    If I replace my driver seat with a Sparco R100, and I disconnected the side airbag wires from my seat, will the entire car's side airbags be disabled as well?

    And how much less safer will my seat be versus the stock seats?

    How do fool the system so that the side airbags can still deploy?

    I'm really just thinking about returning my seat and living with the stock seat even though it hurts my back.

    How you doing ? Ok I read some post that you commented on and just wanted to clarify with you. I got a set of 09-11 Si wheels that came with 245/40/17 tires. are these ok to run on a stock 17x7 rim. there is much debate on this size tire, but you seem to know, I just wanted peace of mind before I put these on my LX-S sedan..

    Hey testify,

    I've seen your posts around the site and you seem more than knowledgable on many topics with our cars.

    My plan was initially to purchase the HFP suspension setup come summer time... but now it's being discontinued and the prices are being jacked up.

    I wanted exactly what the HFP kit offered... a slight drop, and better performance. However I can't justify paying the increased price for it when I know there must be other setups that would rival it for similar pricing.

    What would you recommend for my situation? I'm not looking to drop $1000+, I don't track my car every single day (that's rare), I don't wanna be hellaslammed/flush/whatever, I just want something that'll work.

    Any advice would be great, thanks!

    hey! got a question =)
    i bought bc type br coil overs for my 2010 civic(didnt install them yet) i also have the 32mm eibach front sway bar installed and the car turns much better but i lost some traction in the front tires because of such a stiff anti roll bar. Now the reason i got these coil overs were to adjust camber for better traction,to lower the car to 1.5 inches and the stock springs are way to soft. i also do some autocross now and then. is it a bad idea to have coil overs and such a stiff front sway bar? and is 8k front and 6k rear good enough to track my car?
    sorry for the long story, jus wanna hear your opinion on this thank you

    I assumed that koni would ask for a proof of purchase for the lifetime warranty (which I wouldn't have buying used). But I've also heard they have very good customer service, so maybe they'd be a bit lenient in that regard.

    Regardless, I'm buying them. If I have to replace something out of pocket down the line, so be it.

    I was wondering from what you've seen, how many miles koni yellows typically hold up? Someone's offering me a full set for $300 w/ approx 15-20k miles on them.
