not sure. i'm not educated enought to think of all the things it could be, or what it definetly would not be, but i wonder if i can do a few different tests to rule stuff out. like i said, i don't know what it could be, but things like compression, fueling, belts/pulleys, bbg, rotors, come to mind. maybe i should bypass bbg and see what happens, replace pulleys and belt, check tension, yadda yadda and start crossing stuff off before i pay for a rebuild. i started that thread a long while back and didn't get many responses other than it might be the rotors.

yeah, i have heard all about that. never really seen the pudding though. thats why i want to see dave and fidel get in there. i'd like to know why i don't make the same amount. and if there could be some other issue besides the rotors.

Nothing really. It's just a ***** to get the cage back together with the larger pump. The plastic seems like it'll snap if you force it but you just gotta keep working at it.

Pro-tip: Use the OEM sock on the bottom feed for the pump. The sock that DW gives you is larger and the cage won't fit together easily with it on.

I bought it through Vit's online store. According to my invoice it was the Si model.

you only need one bulkhead washer. The fitting goes through the top of the fuel cage, and hondabond/ultraflange seals the fitting on the top of the cage. the washer goes on the fitting on the inside of the cage. You only have 2 threaded sections of the fitting lol. the one on the outside takes the return line hose, the one on the inside takes the washer.

Do I need to attach my MS paint drawing again? :rotfl:

No not yet. I've been slacking. got a nail in my tire and brought new ones. Need brakes and to put the R40 on. My ship has been going underway too so it's been tough to get free time to drive and log. Soon though.
