M&M Aero Intake Duct or Homemade Icebox

...I am deciding between either purchasing the scoop from japanparts.com or doing one of the stock airbox mods; my main concern is hydrolocking. I don't know if one or the other would be more prone to it. When I e-mailed them, they replied that they could not confirm if it would fit as it was designed for the CTR. They said to check on local civic forums, so any helpful input is much appreciated...

I have this intake duct on my Si sedan. I would recommend buying it. I drove it in the rain yesterday, and had no problems. Car pulls harder after installing it.

...thanks for the input. I noticed your user name is VQ Power; do you drive a Nissan as well? I had an 03 Maxima SE and loved the intake setup.

Yeah, I also drive a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan. Many mods done to it! Gotta love the sound of the VQ motor!
