You're breaking the law as soon as your odometer stops recording mileage? What exactly are you supposed to do about that? I was suggesting recording the mileage on your own for personal reasons when the car could not. I was not suggesting tampering or altering anything on the car... Actually you can replace the gauge, you will just need to state that the odometer doesnt reflect the true milage of the car

deltatechx, you stated that you still have the original coil packs installed. Replace them and you will see a significant improvement in your MPG. A healthy ignition system is crucial in order to achieve optimum combustion in the chambers. Also, consider running a can of Seafoam through the engine to clean out any carbon build up. You should buy a box load of the coils at cost price so you can replace them every 60,000 miles as needed.

Since when are the coils replaced every 60K miles? I don't even think Honda recommends replacing them at any time (didn't see anything in the manual).
