K20Z3 Swap problem

Hi Guys, recentely, I got a 07' Si K20Z3 engine from my friend, and I have swapped into my ride which is 07' FA1 with R18A1.

But finally, I couldn't start the engine, I double checked the wiring and everything looks fine.

Can anyone give me some advice to work it out?

Is it Immobilizer problem? If it is, how can I fix it?

P.S. the engine also come with stock 07' Si ECU

P.S. I heared that the K-PRO doesn't work on 06+ civic, is that true?

Many thanks

for more infor:

1. I tried to swap back stock FA1 ECU to my ride, I could start the engine

2. I used HDS to check the system and try to flash the key with SI ECU, but HDS appears:

a. immobilizer not normal code D3
b. no communication between ECM/PCM and immobilizer unit

This happened to a friend when he did a type s swap, he took it to honda and they matched the key 2 the ecu, they did request proof that it was not a stolen engine

I'm guessing your a tech since you have a HDS? If your using the correct hds password on request it should let you override any key I would say enter All Keys Lost and reprogram any keys you have available the ecu will learn that key try that with s.I. Ecu goodluck

hopeful you don't need a s.I. Harness which I'm thinking might very well be the case there's no way in hell you can run an si motor on a single cam ecu harness and motor harness .... GL

you ran the K20Z3 on an R18 ecu? how did it run? just curious.
BTW, you definatly have immobilizer issues. if your car ran with teh origianl ECU and not with the K20 ecu, its a communitcation error. make sure that the keys are coded correctly, and the immobilizer and ECU are communicating with the correct codes. if you could reprogrma all of them, chances are your car will run fine.

Thanks for your responding, man.

My SI ECU also come with SI harness, just it seems that HDS can not communicate with SI ECU...

I have sent my ride to local honda dealer store, but they can not help me out, either!

The key codes are stored in the top line of the reprogramming for the ECU. Just get the keys coded to the car and it will be fine. PM BLueroadster he has done the rekeying process numerous times before.

There is a hondatech on here lemme find his name.

You need to program the key for the Si ECU.
