it also states in the manual that if and when a person needs to change out their manual tranny fluid, they can also use motor oil. it also states that you can use other brands of coolant for a coolant flush.

would YOU do this? I wouldn't.

also, i read a comment about how easy it is to get a 60k/year job with a college degree. yes and no.

you CAN get a 60k+/year job with a 4 year degree, however, you still will start from the bottom (maybe not VERY VERY bottom) and it will be easier and quicker for you to move up. a 4-year college degree opens many doors for a person.

for example, i graduated last may and got my 4-year degrees. im at a job where i got promoted within 3 months and got a company car with a pay of 45k/year.

Also keep in mind that while 60k/year may be a lot in some areas, it isn't in others. I can tell you that 60k is nothing in Toronto. A tiny house or condo should run you around 500k just to start out at something really small. Plus we have ridiculous taxes and with a condo you can add 1 or 2k/month condo fees. So not a lot of money if you're living in the city.

wow dude if its an auto..just cruise..do what you pay the extra grand for the tranny to do AUTOmatically. hint hint keyword "AUTO"..if u really like ur car, buy some cosmetic stuff to make it look sleeker i.e.: rims, hfp kit, fogs, si grille (minus the si badge), LED interior, etc..

It's the exact opposite of an investment.

No comment on your driving skills with an auto.......! Can't wait for the dealer to pull the crap you are doing to your tranny in your ECU. The look on your moms face will be priceless! And I quote:

"Son you can't drive for sh*t. You might as well biek to school but then you might break that too. You might walk but then you might break your legs too. Just kill yourself."

True, it definitely depends on the area. I think, on average, getting a 60k/year job with a 4 year degree is simple if you put time into it. Hell, at target, you can make +/- 55k starting out as an LOD (leader on duty), which requires just a degree. You may have to start low (in the 30s), but after some time is put into it, 60k isn't unattainable at all.

Lol, my point is it's not an investment at all. An investment grows, earns you money. A car just depreciates. It's not like a house, where hopefully when you sell it you make money.

to me, yes buying a car is an investment, but i dont have the mentality of "hmm i wonder how much i'll get back when i sell it in X amount of year." Rather, I bought my Si because I wanted it and plan on keeping it for a LONG time and because it's a honda and i would never buy anything else.

to me, i would have bought my Si even if it cost me like 50K. the car, IMO, is worth the price and esp. for the price i got it for (22.5 OTD w/ navi).
