you have a manual r18, and corsport SS....and you think the ipod has something to do with it slipping back out of gear? is this correct?

where is the ipod gizmo routed? have you double checked your install? something doesn't sound right there? don't know how the 2 can be related? what year is your car? when did you install the SS?

Shut the equallizer off on the iPod. Now try the volume.

The iPod is using a line out feature, you'll never get the same volume output as you would a CD player when using any device on this method, just adjust the EQ as best you can on the iPod and learn to live with new volume settings... Oh, and turn the volume on the iPod to about 75%, you'll get less sound distortion.
