so i thought i didn't

so i thought i didnt have the transmission issues almost everybody else has with their si until tonight. i've got 3500miles on my car.
anyways, i was driving home earlier and some jackass tried to cut me off in a camry so i gunned it. i tried shifting to 2nd and it wouldnt go. i grinded the shit out of it. so i stood on the clutch and tried again and i'm like wtf? go you stupid pos! so it finally gets into 2nd and i go for 3rd and the same thing happens. im like come on dude!
i was effing pissed. so im on my street at a stop sign and i try again, take off normally and then gunned it almost to red and shift to 2nd and it went fine.
it's done if before a couple of times into 2nd when i wasn't revving that high and i think it has done it in 3rd once or twice before.

i was just really pissed and felt like sharing. someone will probably post the usual replies "you're driving sucks" or "you're a jackass" or something like that. oh well

i have a twm short shifter with all the bushings that should be here tomorrow or thursday. hopefully that helps. i don't know if i should also change my tranny fluid to amsoil. i guess i'll have to see how the ss goes

the SS might help, it might make it worse...but from what I've heard it helps a little...as for the amsoil...couldn't hurt, sure it's not Honda spec, but apparently Honda spec isn't that good...my friend switched over the Amsoil syncromesh and said everything is "buttery smooth. No notches, no grinding." It couldn't hurt, might solve all your problems

as for the comments you mentioned...won't hear those from me.
