3rd Gear TSB parts

so dose anyone else have there car at the dealership waiting for the parts 2 come in? the parts are on backorder and i was just wondering if anyone has anyinformation on when they are going 2 have the parts avaliable. i am on week 2 without my car. atleast my loner is nice.

because my local dealer ship has a jack ass as a service manager and he was giving me and my buddy a really hard time about it.so i took it 2 the next closest and i droped it off on saturday they figured it would be done in a week. how long have they been on backorder?

when did they tell u that? did they have a tracking number or anyting? cuz the dealership i took myne to said that they had no way to tell were they were, when they were sent out when they will be sent out or anyting like that. cuz they upgraded it 2 some kinda urgent parts request.

well i had 2 drive 85 miles on way so i just left my car there and took there loner. hopefully i get my car back soon but its ok if i don't cuz i'm putting miles on someone else's car :) sooo i see we have the same shift knob

About 2 weeks ago. The parts are in, I just found out today. I am going to take my car in next week. I dont have time with the big meet coming up. TO much shit to do.

Im not really worried about it. The dealership I go to tkes care of me. I told them about the 3rd gear issue when I had ~ 1000 miles on the car. They realized the problem and replicated it at around 26,000 miles. Though I was the first person to complain about it, I was not the 1st person to bring them the TSB info. They are doing my car befroe anyones so I will be the first person getting it done there. Cant wait to see what it feels like.

Im still waiting...its been almost a month now. It will prob. be the end of may or 1st of june before my dealership is ready for me to drop the car off.

i dropped my car off at Rick Case in Davie, FL. yesterday and they called me today and said that the parts wouldn't be in till June so i had to go pick up my car today. They said that they are fixing it by vin order. i dunno how that is gunna work out but we'll see.

i got the auger with swade and red stiching.

hopefully these parts are worth the weight. i hate not having my car cuz then i'm spending more time online looking at parts and hell i damn near spent 2000 on rims and tires the other night :) then i rember no more 0% intrest

I brought my car in last Friday to Ed Voyles honda in atlanta and they had the gear set in stock and had my car done in 3 hours! Could not say enough how great that dealership is and how surprised I was to have a new 3rd gear set installed in less than a day. And What A difference. Car Drives like it should, its finally fun to to rip through the gears without the worry of sheering a syncro! Thanks Honda for listening

god this just makes me want it that much more!!!! i freaking want my car. all thought the TSX they gave me is nice it is worse on gas even with me driving like a bat outa hell in my civic and babying the TSX.

WTF?!?! i keep getting told that the damn parts are on backorder and yet there are dealers that have them in stock. youre lucky that your dealer's cool like that. i had to beg and plead for my damn dealership to get it done and now its been 3 freaking weeks.
