Test drove LX and it drove better? why?
so i have an 06 ex coupe AT 30k mi, and its in the shop to get the sub replaced, and they gave me an 07 lx coupe AT 21k mi, and i swear, the car drives better! the gas pedal felt lighter, as in, when i pushed down on it, it doesnt need as much pressure......AND, the throttle response is better too! i know its the same engine, but could something be wrong with mine then?
when i push the gas down, it seems to have a smoother throttle response, i feel like mine lags a bit...its hard to explain....like when im going 30mph and then i press the pedal all the way down, it seems to rev up faster and i feel like my car has a slight lag and just doesnt do that.....like i said, its hard to explain, but could this be a tranny issue? the one thing for sure, is that the pedal feels a lot better and softer than mine.....can anyone help shed light on this? |

Not too sure but I hear the AT transmission learns your driving habits. I dunno, just something that was sitting in the back of my head. So I guess if your a hard driver, it will stay in lower gears longer. If your a casual driver it will shift into the higher gears quicker.
