So, I called American Honda and complained all about the back rattle that so many of us have encountered. I was told to simply take it into the dealer, they would perform the TSB, and all would be well.. yea right.
So i got home and took the deck apart myself after I noticed absolutely no difference in the rattle. Then when I turned up the music, without the deck even in place, the rattle was still there! But when I pressed up on the ceiling right above the back seat the rattle disappeared! Has anyone else experienced this and how can I stop this? Dynamat would probably be the perfect solution but I have no idea how to get into the ceiling and definitley don't think I should have to pay for it.. so I'm gonna talk to American Honda tomorrow and see what's up... let me know if any of you have also noticed this and if you have a solution! Thanks |

I took mine in today for the same problem (I have a LX coupe) They spent 3 hours installing foam under the rear deck, the rattles are a little better, but it still rattles quite a bit. I am not sadisfied by any means...
