Question Clutch pedal sounds and feel

There is something up with my clutch pedal that really isnt ordinary..

- At times would make a huge squeak when i press the clutch pedal. It is coming from under the car and it sounds like if you pulled on the exhaust midpipe enough it would make the same "squeak". I was pondering if pressing the clutch pedal does something to pull against the exhaust section to make that noise but that sounds ridiculous.

- I drove my friends FA5 and his clutch pedal is noticeably lighter, is there any reason for this? I own a FG2 and would believe we have the same engine/motor. BTW we both have an 07'.

Any ideas people?

Hmmm... i have an 06 sedan and i encountered a similar problem. My clutch was heavier than my brothers (also an 06 sedan) and i was getting a clicking sound+feel in my clutch as i would let it out. I took it to Honda, they changed my clutch pedal assembly, but the click still occurs. Much less often, but it still happens. The clutch is still heavy however. I remember seeing a thread about the squeaking tho, it also had videos for sound posted on youtube...

this "squeak" is one of the mysteries of the world

I have heard dozens of different theories and so-called reasons for the clutch sqeuak that sometimes don't even have anything do with the clutch.

I get the squeak really bad too. It seems to be more prominent when i'm letting the clutch out slowly at low rpms. I definately don't think its the exhuast hanger because when i put the e-brake on and slowly let go of the clutch in first gear, i hear a squeak. No movement should = no hanger movement = no squeak but that's not the case

Is your clutch worn out? Did you try taking it to the dealer?

I get the clicking sound with feel only in the warm months in the winter time it goes away. I think it's either clutch pedal rod lube breaking down when it's hot or something else. I stoped worrying about it when I realized it was temperature dependent.
