Civic 2.0 modification Advices Needed
Dear All,

I would like to do some minor modification to my Civic 2.0 i-vtec auto transmission powered by K20Z engine. I was been adviced by our local mechanics to change the panel filter, custom exhaust, Skunk 2 stage 1 camshaft. Well, i don't know much about modification but my concern is what is the best yet good value for money for the panel filter. As for the camshaft, i'm quite concern with it as its requires quite a major changes in the engine system. Any good advices people.....

yeah.. well, thats the spec for malaysian market i must say.. the only civic with manual transmission is for the Type R.

Oh man the K20 would absolutely suck with an auto trans. In order to make any kind of power you need to keep the RPM in the power band, which is 6k+.

02-06 Acura RSX base has a K20. You can get a 5 speed manual or an automatic transmission for this model.

Some good $/hp upgrades include pulleys, exhaust header, and throttle body spacer.

Start reading threads in the bolt-on and all motor forum, you'll get an idea for what upgrades are good for you.
