Getting rid of the DBW system...

Well I'm waiting for kpro until the end of summer and if its not out I'm wanting to get rid of my drive by wire system and switch to a Type-S set up. Is this possible? And if so, what other parts do I need besides the following?:

Typ-s throttle body
Type-s throttle cable
type-s ecu w/kpro

Thanks for any info.

How are you planning on hooking up the type-s ecu?

The wiring harness is gonna look like spaghetti with chunks of solder meatball if he can pull this off.

^totally make more sense to me rather then spending all the extra money to turn it into a type S.

I just did the throttle body bypass mod this weekend and it really has helped the smoothness of the DBW system. Its not really a power adder mod, just makes the car much smoother. Try it before you go through all that work.

Bro, not for nothing but ur in for a lot more than what ur thinking.. get the reflash and call it a day.. if u really need a programmable ecu ur better off going with a piggyback setup.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the LX with the Type R motor. Because that's the only one I saw that converted to cable.
