No problem. There's a lot of other people use the emanage but he's the first one that popped into my head.

Actually, none of the stuff in the car that is driven from the CAN bus would work. If you have an earlier Civic (2006 or 2007), then more stuff will operate than if you have a 2008 or newer model (where CAN was implemented 100%).

Here is how Honda implemented the CAN protocol over the various years. The 2006 is 70% ISO 9141 and 30% CAN. The 2007 is 40% ISO 9141 and 60% CAN. The 2008 is 100% CAN. Here is a link to the source.

Typ-s throttle body
Type-s throttle cable
type-s ecu w/kpro

Thanks for any info.
I never understand why people who have such a thirst for power and is willing to go to such extremes to make power don't go FI. You could trade your car in for a WRX with the money you'll be putting into this project. Don't get me wrong Honda makes great cars, but you basically get what comes from the factory and not much more even with mods.

It's not about power, it's about driveability. The DBW in the Si is a pain in the ass. It forces you to drive "wrong" to drive the car right.

I along with many others have owned mainly manuals for most of our driving years and this is the first car we have had complaints about. I have more fun shifting a rusty old 85 Volvo wagon than I do driving an Si with the damn rev hang. And for anyone who is quick to point out that I "suck" at driving manuals then I'll say this. I am definately not the best around since I'm no race driver but every manual I have driven in the past I have been able to shift smooth as silk. Esp my friends RSX-S which was the entire reason why I bought an SI, that car was a dream to drive, it made me so happy even grannying it around. Even my father who has never owned an automatic in his life, his first comment when driving my Si was "what's with the engine when I shift". Even my friend who bought the same car is annoyed by it.

If it wasn't for the rev hang then I would still have my Si, even with the transmission problems I had and even though I didn't feel like paying for it. I would have paid good money for a cable conversion kit.

Not trying to sound like a dick, I just don't know how to make something so annoying sound any nicer.

^ It bothers me too, but not that much. I have gotten used to and am compensating for the lag, but I have a feeling the next car I drive will have a break-in period for me to drive right again.

As a matter of fact I WANT to go FI which is WHY I wanted to switch it out because I'm tired of waiting for kpro, and I don't want to settle for e manage.
And If I traded in my car, I would be upside down at the age of 19. And Suby's are nice and all, till you wanna make them turn. And what did you say about not getting much EVEN with mods? You say that like there aren't a significant number of extremely fast hondas out there with mods.
