Mine always does it over painted lines on the road, like crosswalks,etc. It's like you lose your brakes.

I've had this happen quite a few times. There's a particularly bad traffic light near me that has wavy concrete as you pull up to it, and I've had to learn to take it a LOT easier than normal. I get the feeling that the ABS is set to be overly sensitive in regards to the Si's tight suspension in this matter, for example, the ABS sensitvity might be fine for a car with a lot more damping and softer suspension, but not for the Si. I'm not sure about you R18 owners having this problem though... Either way, It's normal I suppose... But I've come close to a few accidents due to this.

anyone still experience this after installing lowering springs? OBTW I have an '06 LX sedan.

Happens to me as well.
Just let off the brakes and re-engage them.

I agree it's scary as hell when it happens out of the blue when you're not expecting it...
