it could be a sticker which can easily be removed by heating it up and peeling it away. now it could be painted on like some have experienced.

I have a pinstripe and it's painted on there. Luckily they cover it for a life-time at my dealership so any inperfections will be fixed. At first I didn't think it would look good, but I saw it in person and it's like a faint blue stripe on a Galaxy Gray car. Not bad at all since blue is my favorite color and it's kind of hidden. :)

That would drive me nuts as it sticks out like a soar thumb. My pinstripe kind of hides itself within the Galaxy Gray Metallic paint so it's suttle and looks nice.

However, don't let the opinions of others reflect on your decision when it comes to the looks of a car. As long as you like it, that's all that'll matter.

You only have to make it through the rest of spring, summer, fall, and a small bit of winter.

Nevermind the driving comment. You're 15. It'll be one hell of a first car for you. You will have some jealous friends. Haha.

Pfft.

I've been called spoiled all my life. I've always gotten the things I've wanted and I never had to work for them when I was younger. It was all my dads doing and I'm happy he spoiled me. But the other key is while he may of spoiled me, he also taught me that I won't be handed everything in life and I need to work for things. That's what I learned with this Civic other than the fact he put $3,600 down on top of my $5000 I put down.

When I'm called spoiled, I laugh it off and say something along the lines of...

"Yeah, so... what's your point?"

Who cares about being called spoiled. Anyone who calls you spoiled is generally just jealous. If you have nice things at a young age, you're automatically spoiled. I pay for my SI, but being only 18 when I got it, obviously I'm a spoiled kid.

18 and an Si?

I'm called spoiled and I bought a nearly fully loaded EX Coupe (08) but I'm 20 years old. But than again, most kids in my college don't have brand new cars so I can see why.

But I just laugh it off and stay happy that I have what I do.

Yep, 18 and SI. I got a brand new LX when I was 17 (06) that my parents just gave me. 8 months later I gave it to my sis, who needed a new car, and bough my own.

Nice.

You loved the Civic so much you had to buy a new 'upgraded' Civic.

I have never been a fan of pinstripes. But when I found my Habanero Red Si, it already had black pinstripes painted on it. I really think the Habanero Red and black look good together, since the other accents on the car are black too. I'm keeping mine.

Brian

I also "upgraded" from my 06 EX to my 08 Si. I love my Civic (both of them), but the Si is way more fun to drive!
