Oil Problem!!!!!! Help Plzzzz

So i was planning a trip from So Cal to NorCal and my oil life was at 10% and all the gas stations were closed. I thot it would be smart to put new oil in with the old oil for this long drive. I added 1 bottle to my old oil so now im not sure if its safe? Is this in anyway bad for my car. Will my car explode? or should i wait till tommorow morning and get a legit oil change. ?

NEED HELP ASAP THANKYYUUU

Yes... your CAR WILL EXPLODE!!!

Actually your fine. You can overfill a quart and it won't do any real damage.

However you should do an oil change now. Lucky for you I'm a huge SDer.

Get this deal NOW!

5 Quarts of MOBIL 1 Synthetic, High Mileage Synthetic OR Extended Performance Synthetic Motor Oil + a Mobil 1 filter = $27 bucks

Usually I buy the Extended Performance from Walmart ($27) and the filter at any auto store ($9.99). So in a way... free mobil 1 filter!

Why would you run on the highway with old oil. Worse yet to overfill your crankcase. You could blow your seals or cause your oil to froth up. I also wouldn't get your oil changed at a gas station. Do you really want some retard highschool kid stripping your oil pan drainplug out and ruining your oil pan? Or worse yet having your filter come loose and letting all the oil out of your engine while your on the highway?!

I learned this lesson years ago. I didn't have time to change the oil in my car myself so I took it to one of those quick oil change places. They told me that the last place that changed my oil must have stripped the threads. Well... I was that last person to change my oil so I disagreed but they were adamant that they didn't do it. D-bags, the scene I created caused four people who were there to say they would never go there again though so that was pretty nice.

If you have a steel pan usually just the bolt will strip. Hope that was the case for you!
