Change your Tranmission fluid at...

Hi all, just needed some advice on when or how often I should be changing the transmission oil? I just got my Si and I have about 3000KM on it right now. I'm thinking of doing my first oil change, but any advice on when the first tranmission oil should be changed and then how often there after?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, I was just wondering if I needed to change it out early for the first round since the car is just brand spankin new. So I shouldn't worry about the metal shillings or stuff in the oil during the break in period then?

Doesnt matter when you change it but the sooner the better. Makes shifting way smoother. I changed mine at 10k miles

I don't think the transmission has a break-in period. Especially I doubt that any metal "shillings" come out of it. If they do, you've got a problem.
