if so then it should be a no.

why? because the R18 and the K20z3 doesn't share the same bolt pattern for the transmission, and the R18 has a 5 speeds tranny while the K20z3 has a six speeds.

but hey, anything is possible with the right tools and modifications.

With modern cars it's easier and cheaper to trade your car in for the type you want. What you are trying to do is make a 1/2 Si out of your standard Civic. Just get an Si, it'll be cheaper.

If not then you will need to transfer the engine, transmission, ecu, and engine wiring harness over, plus the under dash wiring probrably won't match up to the ecu and that may need to be swapped also. A lot of work, and a lot of money.

With older cars it was no big deal because there where not many computers. I swapped my rwd Volvo from an auto to a manual in a weekend, but the auto wasn't computer controlled so nothing else needed to be touched besides teh transmission.

it's gonna be cheaper and smarter to just trade your ex for an si, than do the swap.
