DCHR, BCHR, and Rattling?!?

ok, so DCHR<BCHR or DCHR>BCHR????

I need to buy exhaust and header..so I have i/h/e like I always wanted lol, but I don't know what to get???

Also, WTF is up with the rattling in my dash board at highway speeds???? It's driving me freaking crazy (08' RR FG2 btw).

Last buy not least, what is K-pro??? Why should I be excited to wait for it and what can it do?

That is all

ill answer that one for ya
K-Pro is a tuning solution for the Acura RSX made by a company called Hondata. There isnt any K-pro coming out for out Si's (it will be called something different) its pretty much a way to tune your car specifically to your mods.

Mother of all Race Header Threads

K-Pro

I don't know about the rattling on the highway, but those two links should take care of the other questions. In summary, for headers ssr>bcrh>vibrant>dc.

Hondata is supposed to come out with a tunable ECU for our cars sometime this summer. It won't be called K-Pro, but it will still probably cost $1000+.

Man, thanks a lot for those two links (especially the header one). I've heard that headers smell like gas when the car isn't moving...is that true, and is there a way to make it go away (without a cat)?

So, if I paired up a BCRH w/ an exhaust, which might you recommend for max power but min loudness???

That first link was a sticky. There are stickies on exhaust also. Both are at the top of the page in the Bolt-Ons and All Motor forum. All of your questions could be answered if you just search.

Without a cat, you're going to smell gas, but it's not bad at all. I honestly kind of like the smell. If you want it to go away get a high flow cat.

The only major factor in how much power an exhaust will add is the diameter, but gains from exhaust are minimal (3-4 WHP Max). There are tons of opinions and sound clips on the forums. Look around and you will figure out what you want.

rattling could be your rearview mirror or your visors or sunroof. They all sound like they're right infront of you.
