Gab on the doors? normally?

Hi friends,

I just got my 2006 Si Coupe imported to germany. Now I have noticed that when I close the doors there is a gap between door and the car body. Also the door is closed really well! The passenger side is not that bad.

See the picture what I mean:

What can I do to this?

You may be able to adjust the lower hinge to pull it in closer to the car, but I'm not sure if the adjustment is available.

Has the car been in an accident? That's a wierd thing to see on a car that's not been wrecked. How did they secure the car? There was a story floating around the net a while ago of Kia's being sold unknowingly with f*cked up chassis because they where strapped down too tightly during shipping.

I noticed the exact same thing on my car. I've had a couple bumps on the front bumper, maybe that's related.
