rattling/tinging noise when on throttle('08 si)

i'm getting this rattling/tinging noise when i'm on the throttle, i don't know if it's the intake sucking in air, or something is loose.. doesn't occur when i'm really light on the throttle(cruising)

anyone else experience this on their SI's or 8th's??

Hey Gordon,
I have a 'tingling' noise when VTEC is engaged. But not lower in the rev range.
First place I would suspect a noise like that is probably valve springs.
I'm not a Honda tech, but maybe one of those guys could say whether
this is a good guess or not.

I am too and was wondering what it may be. i have an 06 lx ( no si i wish haha) but right around 70mph it starts rattling on both the left and right side ???

I have an '07 SI coupe and it's also doing this "tinging" noise when the engine is cold. Once it warms up for 8-10 minutes it stops.
