Just need a little help????

Alright i'm sure this is easy but i cant seem to figure it out, my problem is im changing the cable that pops the gas door open and i cant get it apart in the trunk. the trunk popper and the gad door go it the same little black piece and i cant get. anyone taken this apart before???
