Clutch click feel/sound

Ok so a few days ago i started noticing a click when i depress the clutch. I had felt that sensation before, but it had stopped. Basically, when i push the clutch down, it goes down very smoothly, when im letting it out, it goes pretty smoothly up until its depressed about 90% i can feel a slight click. Its not my shoes and has nothing to do with the weather.

Me and my brother both have 5M/T ex sedans and i drive his when ever mine is getting an oil change and what not, and i noticed that my clutch is heavier than his, i dont know if there is a relation with the click...

Could i just be paranoid? The clicking is not flagrant, but it is obvious, im sure a technician or a mechanic would feel is aswell... I am getting an oil change next tuesday and getting a few other things done at my local honda shop so i will also tell them about this, but do you guys have any ideas?
THanks!

i've felt it, but my CMC (clutch master cylinder) is dying.. so not sure. good luck though, maybe your dealer won't charge you $150 to diagnose the problem..

You were charged 150$ just to diagnose it? How much would it cost to repair if it's not covers by warranty?

lol you think i actually paid? i'm waiting for something to break, and then i'll tell my freaking stealership that there's no need to diagnose the problem. just replace the freaking part.

good thing i have the extended warranty.. if it is the CMC, then it should be free.. if not, then i'm gonna sell my car

lol it would be that expensive of a repair if it wasn't covered? I've read that the CMC acting up also has weaker breaking as a symptom, do you experience that as well?

There's always been a click on my clutch or any Si's I've sat in. In and out...

Yeah but it's not the kind of click like the one that activates the brake lights or the one that triggers the sensor to know the clutch is pressed in or n e thing like that... It's an odd click... Doesn't seem right, plus the sound...

Click on the link to the Service Bulletin archive. One of them has an entry listed in red, that mentions a clicking clutch on the s2000. It might be worth your time to look at it.

One of the fellow Florida Members has this issue with his 07 Habbi 4 door. The D ship fixed it for Free today. I cant remember exactly what went bad but they replaced one or two parts. If he comes by tomorrow ill ask him exactly what they did replace

i actually had this problem last summer, it suddenly appeared out of no where, but after a bit it went away,i'am not sure if it was just the heat (100 degrees here in the summer)or not, but mine disappeared, there is actually a thread from awhile back, ill try to find it, but i heard of people, getting an entirely new Clutch assembly.

I think it all depends on how many miles you have on your car and your dealership. Cause your clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, and clutch master cylinder is all wear and tear items that will not usually be covered under warranty. Like brakes, rotors, tires etc.
but there are some cool dealerships that will work with you(good will the parts) and other dealerships will just bend you over (lube is extra $$)LOL!

Hey i just got off the phone with my friend he is going to bring the paperwork to me so I can read over it. hes not to car savy but he said it was a clutch pump assembly. He was getting a click and then his clutch pedal was getting harder to push down. He just left the d ship right now and it was all done for free. Once I get to see the paper work I will post all information I can a bout it.

I had the same issue you have. My car is not daily driven and for me this problem occurs only after not driving it for a few days and when its cold outside, besides that scenario it never does it.
