OMG there is a fluid leak IN my car and I need help!

ok so heres the thing, i had my car jacked up on one side for about 4 hours while i was painting my calipers. then once i tightened the rim back on, i noticed the interior of my car smelled FUNKY. and i noticed drops of liquid on my brake pedal. it was a dirty clearish looking fluid but couldnt tell because it was dark by this time. but it smelled FUNKY. well i took my car for a drive and nothing seemed to be wrong. after the initial drops on the pedal, i havent seen anymore liquid.

does ANYONE know what this could have been? i called the dealer and they state jacking up a car should have nothing to do with it. could it be possible that since my car was at an angle, when it came back down to level, some liquids might have moved around?

HELP

It could just be condensation from your heating or cooling (AC) system. I'm guessing it just ran out when the vehicle was at an angle.

Yeah man, if it is dripping from somewhere, you should be able to pinpoint where. I just noticed today that there was a really cold spot on my right sandal and it was wet. I think it was just moisture from the A/C er something

Nothing should leak from jacking your car up. Look up under the dash where the pedals are and see if you can see anything. The only clearish fluids would be the brake fluid in the clutch and brake master cylinders, which won't leak out inside the car unless the seals are bad.

Coolant can leak from the heater core or heater hoses, but that would not be oily.

The moisture in the A/C airbox should not be able to get out since it's drained by a hose, and it won't be oily unless the oil is leaking from the evaporator.

I don't know???? Wierd!
