the question that you have to ask yourself is...

Do any of my mods touch or directly/phisicly affect the tranny?

no? then your fine.

Now what about short shifter/bushing? I know it all comes down to the dealer, but nothing inside the tranny was modified, so they can't tell me that the bushings are at fault and deny warranty work... right?

TAKE THE BUSHINGS OFF...

Bishings can directly relate to tranny, and yes they can deny your warranty work for shifter crap... why risk it.

what where they doing taking that off???
They didnt remove my manifold... but i guess when they dropped the crossmember the engine may have moved some causing a leak where the manifold connects to the downpipe. Idk all i know is it wasnt leaking there when it was dropped off. It was definately an exhaust leak though. They tightened the bolts and it went away.

You actually let the dealership detail yourcar....... your brave, I take my vehicles in to get worked on and I always tell them NOT to detail the car, The last time they didnt remember i said that, they detailed it and swirled one of my previous cars realy bad. when i got there to pick it up and saw all the swirls I asked if they had detailed it, they said yes, and I then shows them on the paperwork they gave me when i dropped it of the note NOT to have it detailed, I made them pay for me getting the swirls out of it.

the sound coming from mine is hard to explain. It seems like it gets louder as i speed up and i noticed on my way home from work today that if im just cruising and push the clutch the sound goes away and also when the clutch is in and i rev it i dont hear it.

ok well i got my car back and its like they didnt do anything at all???, the tranny still feels like it did before...

all the parts are on the workorder including 3L of honda MTF, eventhough my brother clearly say my car on the hoist over night, it was done the next morning, and they only work till 4pm. that means that they got it done in 6 hours??? thats FAST!...

I will see in winter, more test driving is needed...

OH, yea, no worries, they washed/waxed it and shined up the tires, this is after a rainstorm/thunder storm too

I'm not sure if the dealer would do this or not but I learned a little tip from when I had older cars and I would take them to a shop to get them repaired. I would ask for the original parts that were replaced that way I was sure that they actually did the work and not just say they did. I don't know about the dealship though and I'm sure they may have some gear sets just sitting around that they may try to pass off as the originals so that it just looks like they did the work... Just a thought.

this might work if the work your having done is not under warrenty. to cover it under warrenty most comanies will want the parts back.

All you have to do is get under the car and look around. If they dropped the tranny, most bolts and nuts will have some wear on them from when they were unscrewed and put back on. (unless they used all new bolts) Other then that, if the tranny feels the same, I would bring it back and complain again. Clearly the tranny should be flawless and shift smoothly if the proper work was done to fix the original problem. That was the point of bringing the car in to begin with. Sorry guys, tough luck.
I used to love my SI, but i'm slowing starting to regret buying it. I wanted to keep it for year to come and 100K+ miles, but now I don't know if I'll be able to live with some of the little anoying problems I have with it. What the hell happened to Honda's Quality?!?! Booo!! I want my S2000 back!

im glad to hear that everyones car is getting fixed....all i have to say is once it starts popping out 2-3 out of 10 times, you are officially screwed....unless it's drivers error, i guarantee it'll get worse until you need to take it in, so dont bother waiting and making more damage, just bring it in!

whats up everyone, i got an update but it wasn't b/c of honda. I never had time to go by there. But the cover below the windshield i got to go back into place, I guess they were too lazy to get back on right. As for the sound, i think i got it, i started checking hoses and stuff and come to find out the pipe that feeds air into the intake manifold wasn't tightened up at all. So I am guessing that is what the sound was from. I'll know for sure tomorrow on my way to work to see if i still hear it. But I got a ? do yall think that with it sucking in air that hasn't been filtered will mess anything up in my enigne/intake at all?

Thanks everyone
