it was second gear where the technique arguments came in. hopefully third gear popouts weren't blamed on technique...

either b!tch at them, or yeah go back to stock. a short shifter should be ok.. but don't give you stealership more ammo than necessary..

just in case... better safe than sorry, you'll save yourself some time from yelling at them. most dealerships frown on mods, certain really awesome dealers actually support them

I doubt they'd notice the SS. I have one and there's no way I'm trading it out for stock again.

One thing I've never understood is how Honda (dealership or whatever) can have the nerve to frown upon mods after they release "Honda Nation" commercials that are devoted to the whole tuning culture.

ive been driving manual since i was 9 years old and ive NEVER had a problem with any gear grinding in any of my other cars so i dont know how it would be a lack of technique on my part

I'd like to see what your employee discount is on parts.

Really, at 9? How did your parents allow you to drive cars at that age?

I'm here, trust me. I'm never far away. People on the site may hate me, but they're always ready to come to me when the problems start and they need information .

It is legit. I called my dealership (who was supposed to call me when this fix came out, hahahaha), and I told them the bulletin number. He pulled it up on screen and said it's right in front of him.

It's going in on Monday.

Lucky you.

But as this is a TSB, it is only for affected models. If your car's transmission doesn't have any problems [that you know of], you're good to go and it doesn't apply to you.

Even though I still think everyone of these cars has a bad syncro for third...
