Just called to see if my parts were in at my dealer and nope. He told me the "ring set" was still on backorder with no eta. He also told me they had ordered several other parts they had ordered to fix the problem that had come in. Is the "ring set" the same thing as the third gear set? I'm just worried about them fixing the wrong thing. But if that was the case, the parts they ordered shouldn't have been on back order.

so got my car back friday, been driving it around, i haven't gotten one single 3rd gear grind yet. I think it's pretty good, before, 3rd gear wouldn't go in this easily. Feels butter smooth through each gear. hope you guys get your parts in soon cause the grind is gone! :)

for thought to share :)

Yeah, I'm stoked about my fix as well. No grind, no popping out, and buttery smooth

It's been a month since I've gotten my transmission fixed up and I haven't had an issue with it yet, 3rd gear is smooth as butter and the other gears are continuing with not ever giving me a problem.

I have. It popped out of gear on me twice in the first two days after getting the car back (once just a mile from the dealership).

It's still pretty notchy. I'm not convinced anything is fixed, to be honest, given that it popped out at all. Downshift from 4 to 3 is smoother, but 2 to 3 is still notchy.

The car goes for sale as soon as I get the repairs done.

Airbag malfunction on the passenger side...gotta replace (no reason, no accidents on that or anything).

And the the damage from where someone hit me in the parking lot.

Then...for sale.

Just got word on Friday my 3rd gear parts (and the parts for my freaking passenger seat) came in . Dropping it off tonight for them to fix both. Basically it was about 4 weeks for the parts to come in. I'll update you all after i get it back. Sounds like it's pretty much fixed everyone else's problems.

When you guys say you are waiting for the parts to come in..did you still have your car? or did they let you take the car home until the parts came in?

ill let u all know that mine was fixed and its MUCH better, BUT 3rd gear is definitely still notchy....i dont think it hurts my shifting at all, i can still get it in quick if i need to but honestly its just the principle that its notchy and i know its there on a new car u know?

Positive. I saw the old set parts.

And to be honest, it's not popped out once since the following two days after the fix. It's still a bit notchy, but I can deal with that...popping out I can't deal with.

I dunno why it popped out the first few days, but it hasn't since, and I suppose that is all that matters, hey?
