Exclamation Disaster- Something is really wrong

I recently had the third gear fix performed. Everything felt great until an hour ago when I was on a entry ramp about to get on the highway. As I shifted from 3rd to 4th the shifter fell into 4th. My shifter is completely slack now. I cannot get my car into reverse or 6th gear it just pops right out. I Just called the dealership and left an after hours message. The car is not goiung to be driveable for the hour long trip to the dealer.

i asked the tech when he was ordering parts if these are just replacement parts like that are in the tranny now or newly designed parts. he told me newly designed parts, so well see.....

My fourth feels very strange after having third replaced. It seems to "skip" into fourth if that makes any sense. I'm about due for an oil change and I will see what the dealership says.

I hope that the technitian that's working on my car knows what he's doing and fixes the problem... not add to it.

Yeah this really sucks. The shifter is completely limp. I can't really shift into 5th either. It just feels like there is nothing there. My friend had to push me out of a gas station earlier because I pulled into a spot and couldn't back out. When I got the car home I managed to get it into reverse by ripping it back pretty hard. I think that whoever did the last fix screwed something up really bad. Looks like another week without my car. This is the second Honda I have owned and it is really disapointing. My 94 Accord was at 184,000 miles when I sold her last year. I have had more complaints about this car than I would have ever expected.

The rightmost cable is severly bent at the bracket near the cable bushings. Definately looks like the guy bent the cable to tighten the nut near the bracket. The cables are intact though and not causing the problem.

Yeah, but I don't think the lemon law applies to new cars though. I am definately not paying for the tow though. They will give me a free rental also. Gonna have to wait until tomarrow when they open to find out what's going on.

thats what the lemon law applies to... new cars. and the tow is coved by honda if its warrantable... and since its a part that they @$##ED up on your last visit, its covered... all you have to do is call them tell them where you are and what you found.

*sigh*

Not even a week beyond getting my car back for having the third gear TSB completed, it is going back to start replicating the problem again.

The tranny popped out of gear a block away from the dealership. And twice the day after. It hasn't since, but it's been incredibly notchy since.

They are going to try to replicate it....again. God, deja mother ******* vu...

Well, at least they are doing something: mine was the first car they did (the tech that did it has done this exact TSB before), but they want to get to the bottom of it.
