No problem Karim. Basically, it's good to know about the TSBs involving your car, as they MAY affect you and unless you have a really good dealer who knows their stuff, you probably won't ever know about it unless you yourself take the time to find it.

That's how I found out about half my TSBs lol.

My ride in this morning was without 3rd gear issues. So it appears that the fix may be working. However, I am now going to change out the MTF to Amsoil as soon as I can.

took my car in today and they took an hour to "diagnose" the problem, parts are ordered and will be here monday or tuesday. they're keeping my car for two days and providing me a rental under goodwill at no charge

I haven't had too many problems with 3rd gear, just a few popouts. However, I changed to Amsoil last week and my transmission has never felt better. I don't even have notchiness in 3rd anymore. There's no way I'm gonna let those turds even touch my car if there's no reason for them to.

if u really had an issue, i dont think the mtf would've fixed it, it wasnt enough for me, so yes i still did bring it in for the new 3rd gear set and fork in my case! but the fluid made the gears smoother in general!

it used to pop out on me all the time especially when it was cold. however when i changed the MTF it felt smooth and didn't pop anymore. it's still like this now. it doesn't matter anyway. i just called my dealership and they said that if they can't get the car to do it they're not gonna fix it. and they said if i have a problem with that to take it up with honda.

I just talked to my dealer and the lady told me they'll have to test drive it and all. How many times did you guys bring it back to them, for them to test it?

But the problem is I'm not sure they'll find anything since my mtf change and ss install. What you guys think I should do?

I think I've gotten use to driving it the way it is anyways but then again if theres a part that needs to be changed why won't they do it?

I have an 06 GG Coupe.

Update.

Just dropped the car off at the dealership, and got a rental car from enterprise. Enterprise gave me a f%$#ed up civic sedan lx that shakes when braking. Scuffs everywhere. At least the dealer is paying for it.

I say take the ss out just in case, and for the MTF, the techs won't even probably know the difference.

Although I just had the fix performed and everything seems great I am still debating changing the MTF to Amsoil because I believe that it would make things feel even better. Do you guys think this is a good idea?

Dropped my car off at the dealer this morning to get serviced... The service advisor drove my car and was able to duplicate the 3rd gear problem twice! He said that the technitian had to drive my car and if he's able to duplicate the problem that they would take a look at it. I also told him that it felt really notchy shifting into second and he said that he felt it as well... So they might change the mtf to see if that helps. I'll let you guys know what happened as soon as they give me a call or I get my car back.

I feel so without my
