This is a recall right? Would they fix the problem if the car is modded? I only have an intake...:)

My VIN is 8H200379. I have an 08 sedan.
Why is my number less than those affected? Weird

Also, how do you find your build date?

That should not affect your transmission in any way. If they try saying otherwise ask them to tell you how it could.

It means iy doesn't just go in super smooth. You might hit a little bump or two on the way in, but it goes in nonetheless.

do you have to keep pushing for it to go in??
or is it just like you feel like its rubbing against something but it still goes in perfectly and doesnt grind?

cause if itsthe first one that just sounds like what i have right now, and if i release the clutch when im feeling that it grinds on me

It's kind of hard to explain. It's like you feel it engage half way, push more because you aren't sure if it's in or not, and then it goes in the other half. This is normally followed by large amounts of swearing and/or gritting of the teeth for the next few seconds.

You have to make sure it's all the way in before letting your clutch out. If it won't actually go in or you have to try more than once then you have issues.

Almost every car I've had has had some notchiness. I had a '91 jetta that was really notchy yet my VW mechanic said it was totally perfect.

and if your not paying attention and you feel i goes in half way but not all the way, and then release the clutch it grinds right?

Wrong. It's not a recall. Unless Honda can prove that the mod caused a problem, it shouldn't be a factor.
