Installing a Short Ram intake on my 08 SI

Hey Guys,
I just got my short ram intake in today and noticed that there weren't any instructions lol. The intake looks pretty fool proof to install but I haven't installed an intake on a car in a while and needed some help or any tips or tricks that you might know of (ie. do i need to disconnect the battery terminal before installing? stuff like that.) Also i was chatting with the service manager at the dealership and he said to make sure i install the intake to where it doesn't throw any check engine codes. He wasn't specific on what he mean't so i didn't know if there was a specific way to install it since most intakes are a sinch to install. Thanks in advance for all info!!!

Theres a few intake DIY in the boltons section.

Pretty simple with the right tools.

Right Tools? All you would really need are screw drivers a wrench and a couple of sockets right?

be sure to have at least a 8inch extension to get the third bolt that holds the stock air box. what kind of intake do you have?
