Tapping from dash

Ok, I know I am a girl but I swear I am not crazy. There is a tapping/clicking sound coming from the central dash of my 07 Si. I can hear it the most over uneven pavement and doesn't seem to be weather/time dependent. I took it to the dealership (their mechanics couldn't hear it, although a sales clerk who went out with me again did) and they took out the radio and placed extra "padding" and "insulation" around it. Alas, the tapping/clicking is still there. Has anyone else had a simular problem or have any ideas on what to do? Thanks!

Yeah... nice thought, but since it doesn't happen at idle or on smooth pavement... I doubt it. Thanks though... any other thoughts?

no seriously can you actually tell where in the dash it is coming from? you say central... but up top near the firewall or down near the radio? could it be something in the vent? i know this is one of the most aggrevating things to have in a new car... my wifes car has the damn rattle in the back deck...

Have you taken out your radio before? It might be the wires behind the radio that are just tapping things around it.

I have 2300km on my 08 Si, and i have a slight tapping/clicking sound approximately from the passenger side airbag/dash area. Annoyingly, it exist at speed of above 20km/h. If anyone have this problem or have fixed this problem, please let me know.
I'm quite disappointed with the build quality with this click sound and the misaligned bumper.

EDIT:
-ps. I have not modify anything inside the car, and had this problem in stock form (suspension) and since 500km.

Could be the little man in the dash tapping his foot to the music?

Probably a wire or something slapping the inside of the dash (see little man theory above).

all of thease wires are TIGHT, they are stiff and wrapped. none of them are able to make a tapping noize. even the thinner antenna wire is wrapped in foam...

I've been having the same problem, I hear noise from the dash near the center of the radio console, nest to the drivers door, and the sunroof, it looks as if they had done some poor insolation....

Dont fret sweetie...get a a tech to pull the plastic wiper pannel off and put a thin strip of foam weather strip along the underside of the pannel where the plastic conacts the windshield...im a tech and it took me a while to nail that rattle...hope this helps...

The wiper panel mentioned above fixed my rattle that sounded like it was coming from the dash.
