Cold Start Issue

Im not sure what the exact name for it is, but when I start my car in the morning I can hear a slight knock for a second, Its not to intense but I can hear it from inside.

However when its warm it does not make the noise.

I bought my si used and its still under warrenty. If this is a issuse I need to have looked at would the factory warrenty cover it?
I pretty mechanical inclined but im not sure if this is normal for this motor or not, I had a 89 si and it did the same thing but had over 200k on it.

are you sure its not the injectors ticking? they are pretty loud, switching from b series over to k series

injectors were loud in b series too. im getting a rattling noise when the car is cold. i changed my spark plugs and it lessened but one of the plug's ground strap was completely gone and that's how my rattle started i think so i dunno wats going on in there. try changing your spark plugs.

I look into the spark plugs, Just going by past experience with motors and bad ones i know that noise.
My old neghibors integra had over 300k and it made that noise but louder on his in the morning.
