Does Honda dealers pay for parts replaced under warranty?

Yes, works the same with all makes. Dealers will only pay for a repair if you are very lucky.

So if something breaks, the money for the part comes out of my pocket, and they just replace it for free? That's a bullshit warranty, I can buy the part and install it myself and NOT have some grease monkey screw up my car and come out the same then.....

You shouldn't have to pay ANYTHING if it's under warranty.

If something on your car breaks and is covered under warranty, Honda pays for both parts and labor. I think they pay the dealership for the hours, so in a sense the dealership isn't paying. But regardless you should be paying $0 for repairs covered by warranty.

You should not be paying anything if it's a repair covered by warranty. Honda pays the dealer for parts and labor (albeit cheaper than what the dealer usually charges).
