I would like to get this straight... stock Si have problems with blown head gasket? It should only happen if you push the car TOO HARD, and cars that have too much PSI from Force Induction such as TURBO or Supercharger.
yes no?

Ok, first of all, terrible grammer, but moving on.
If you have only 25K on the motor, it's still under honda factory warranty, and they should fix that **** for FREE. Don't go buying head gasket, or ARP studs until you find out honda won't replace it for free. Plus, i don't see how a header install would cause a head gasket failure, but probably better safe to remove it before taking it in to honda. No other mods? if not, you have a strong case for getting honda to replace it for free under warranty.

Yep.....

I think your pushing too much PSI for the head gasket to fail, or just a BAD gasket. I know plenty of people who rev the shi* out of there's 9+ and have almost no problems. (Side note please don’t rev that high All the time unless you have a built motor or it WILL Blow) If you think it is a blown gasket take it to Honda and they can suck up the cost.

Took my ride to the dealer today for a bad gasket - I was being honest when I told them that I have a header and they took my car in for fix - BUT Here's what I told the service advisor that when I'm installing the header I notice the oil from the head gasket so he took it in with no questions asked.. I asked the tech what's the cause he said it is all from the heat building up causing the gasket to weakened and plus our engine is tilted towards the firewall so most likely the oil will seep from the back..

Has this happened to the R18, or only the Si?

It can definitely happen to the r18. It happened to my stock d17.

Just don't bounce between 100mph and 120mph for 2.5 hours, like I did.

Self-fail.

Damn, thats crazy to read about all those gaskets. How much power could you lose from that? Would it be really noticeable?
