Brand new 08 SI 800 miles popping...

I have a popping sound coming from the right rear or rear springs when going slow in first or slow in reverse also when coming to a stop, it is not evident when going past like 5-10mph, but noticeable if music is not on. What could this be? Taking car in tomorrow, just wanted some feedback

No idea what it is but nice move taking it in. They will probably BS you and say that it wasn't settled or something but don't accept that. This is NOT normal. My 08 didn't do any of that

Could be a bad seal causing a leak and the creaking sound.

No its not a leak, if you rock the car or push on the back end you can hear the slight popping noise coming from the shock.

This is old news. It's a bad shock. They will replace your shocks.

08 Si reporting in.

No creeks or popping sound here.

Go to your dealership with your pimp hand and start smacking till they fill your demands.

I hope the other shocks and such arent bad.....i mainly heard the right one...i wonder if i should get them to check the left when i take it in....they had to special order the part...so they cant even fix it till NEXT tuesday...he says it isnt a safety concern or anything like that.....also is it normal for the door panels to rattle every once in a while and other little rattles in the car here and there?

My door panels dont rattle.
The only rattle I had was from the trunk lid and it was simple to fix, just alittle adjustment did the trick.

Im really suprised that I have no rattles with the winter we had here in chicago. Potholes everywhere, and I seem to hit everyone....
