Unhappy Outside Temp Guage

Has any one noticed that the outside temp guage on the dashboard is incorrect? I knew for a fact that the outside temp was in the 90's when the guage showed low 80's and it stayed there! You know that when you start to drive, the temp will sometimes change...this day it did not.

you can calibrate the temperature readout, check your manual

it gives me pretty acurate idea...

remember, it only takes in AIR TEMP right there where the car is. WITHOUT the sun being a factor so could be "little cooler" reading than you feel

What are you talking about? My Si has a temp gauge and a 10day forecast.....you just have to program your zipcode. You guys didn't get that?

The temp sensor is right below the front bumper and can be inaccurate while sitting still. The manual says that it is at its most accurate while at cruising speed.

thanks for all the replies. I will check the manual on that issue. I know that the temp will change after a bit. My Sequoia is just more accurate I guess.
