please help with rsx rims on my fg1

whats up fellow 8thgens hope all is well but i need your help. so i installed 04 rsx type s rims (16") on my 07 civic ex i got them mounted and balanced but now when i slow down i hear a some sort of noise like a amplified viabration of the rims that i didn't have before can anyone help me with this please and thankyou

yea they do that was my first thought but i doubled check and everything was cool, someone told me to get hubcentric rings but im not to familar with those and i wouldn't no which ones to get

where is it comming from? remove a wheel and look to make sure nothing rubs.

i did remove the rim when i checked but i see nothing out of wack and im not to sure from where except i know its from the wheels cause it only happens when i slow down

hmm. maybe its just the type of tire you used. mikey6p has them on his lx maybe he can tell you what how he installed his.

are you sure it's the wheels? i'm running stock tires with 04 type s wheels on my lx, and no problems here.

im doing the same but i did not get that noise untill i mounted these rims, also does your type s wheels have hub centric rings on them

not that i know of. took them off of a friend soon after he bought aftermarket wheels. unless they come stock, no.

As mentioned above, it could simply be the different tires making a different sound that you are not used to. Some tires are much louder then others.

i use the same wheels on my Si for beaters. rotate the wheels and see what happens. maybe tires were properly balanced.

I had rsx wheels on my EX, no problems whatsoever. maybe some of the lugs arent tight enough and the rim is wobbling?

ok guys heres the update they really don't know i took it to my local tire shop but i noticed the other day i was driving on the highway and when i was braking at about 80mph the sterring wheel was shaking along with the wheels what can that be im thinking maybe an alignment or wheels weren't balanced correctly?????
