Have you talked to a dealership yet? If so, have they given you a cause for your transmission self-destruction?

Do you drive your car hard?

I've seen a few of them explode, but it seems like the owners where a bit tough on them.

My 4th gear got loud and a bunch of parts had to be replaced but I didn't beat on my car and it didn't explode either.

If there where heat spots and cracks on the flywheel and you didn't beat the crap out of it then you have been slipping your clutch too much and overheating it. They are probrably telling you this is from abuse and using that to deny coverage. Wrecking a clutch by slipping it too much will not harm the transmission IF it's not being subject to clutch dumps and similar forms of abuse, but if you are also shifting like crap which also usually goes along with clutch abuse then that could do it in too.

i guess honda forgot that the car revs to 8k rpms and decided to use cheap pressurized steal to save a couple of bucks and screw us over in the end when the trans fails.

dealership + honda = l33t con artists yo

here are some excuses they'll come up with

wear and tear
abuse
mods
if you look young then they'll assume that you street raced it.

i mean seriously.. people dont buy the Si to drive it conservatively. THey buy it to have that extra "mmph" in their commute and take advantage of the engines potential.
