The manual says to rotate every 7500 miles but since the car is already up in the air I just kill two birds with one stone.

FWD cars wear the front tires quicker than the rear tires, since they transmit the power and turn the car. A 10K interval is not optimal for maximizing the life of the entire set of tires.

The problem with these cars is that the rear tires feather very easily, I went 20,000 miles without rotating the tires and had to replace the rear tires (they were feathered beyond use) -- I'm use to having older cars and never rotated tires, now I rotate them every 4,000 miles.

It doesn't matter how soon you rotate the tires as long as it's under 8,000 miles and consistent (every 5,000 miles for instance). If you rotate them at 4,000 one time and then wait 7,000 the next, you'll begin to get uneven tire wear. So if you start to rotate them every oil change make sure you change the oil at consistent intervals (i.e. every 5,000 miles)

on tires that are non directional whats the best way to rotate? can you just do front to back like on the rotational kind, or is it better to criss cross?

Non-directional-
Front to back straight back but back to front criss-cross just like it says to do on page 248 of your manual.

im doing it at every 7500 miles. im too lazy to lift the car up and do it. btw the i don't drag, burn out, hard turn, ect; so that can give me a little more time

i thought they were supposed to be rotated every 10k miles? and compared to most people here, i must drive REALLY slow. cuz the tread on my tires barely show any wear and i have 15k miles on my 07 Si.

im with you on that lol. i don't consider me driving slow cause im always over the speed limit, i just don't drive much. im at 16k on my 06 and my tires are still good.

im at 13k on my 06 LX and my tread seems good. I take corners faster than normal because i dont like braking. But i dont drive fast.

55 in a 55 on highway
50 in a 35 on the off ramp.

I have that negative rear camber too.

I'm getting new A/S tires (Pilot Exalto A/S) so i have better traction in the snow. For those, i'm going to rotate every oil change.... for more even wear. I wont beable to crisscross though.

I rotate and balance my tires every 6000 miles. Just Tires has an unlimited plan for about 70 bucks for as long as my tires last. Dandy deal I think.
