Revs slower after 7k weird sound when i shift?

Alright guys.. i was messing around with my buddys car last night he has a b16 integra with vtec and reflash and just got it tuned. so we were racing and like always once i hit like 7k rpms it will like lag my rpms BAD and i have no idea whats going on.. and i once i shifted after that i heard like a big blow off valve sound like i had turbo coming from the back of my car. it happends every time ill floor it and it will do great then i hit vtec its fine then ill go around 7k and my car will feel real weird and my rpms like almost sit there and wont go any higher and it feels like my car is like not letting me do it. Someone please help no one seems to know what im talking about but i let my friend drive it and hes like its like lagging rpms its weird. This all started happening after i got my car back from my accident i had. If anyone has any oppinions please give them! THANKS 8th!

LX or Si ? If it's an LX, that's the factory rev limiter. If it's an Si -- what kind of accident were you in?

SI. long story short guy pulled out in front of my i went over a curve and grass and sidewalk and hit a stop sign head on going maby like 45

Take it to the dealership, if they think it's abnormal, they'll find out what's wrong. Could be a loose sensor/wire. I have no idea what would cause this tho if the car is running fine other than the rev limiter.

Yeah i took it to the collision center at honda and talked with the guy that handled my accident and he totally agreed with me and that hes going to have to re open my insurance policy thing and get it fixed but he never gave me a call and its been a couple of weeks i think i need to go remind him.
