If everyone in this thread is being a "smartass" by making fun of you for not knowing cruise control (or reading your manual), then what does that make you? (think opposite of smart, and tack on the word 'ass')

Just a question...

Haha great thread. I used the Cruise cont. every day, it's so much easier. I'm not very good at keeping a steady speed without it, I wind up creeping up higher and higher.

No worries man, I was just being a jerk...

(don't try my step-by-step suggestion from before lol) Enjoy the Cruise control and better gas mileage it brings.

Cruise Control was one of the options that the LX I bought had to have.
Like a few have said It saves you from getting speeding tickets.

On my old 2001 Diamante, if I am not mistaken, it would accelerate faster if you double pressed the button on the steering wheel.

07Nighthawkbp, please use periods.

Here's something to try:

1. Set cruise control at 65-70MPH
2. Hit brakes (stopping cruise control)
3. Put shifter in Neutral.
4. Hit the res. accel. button.

Sweet.
what happens?
