Wierd shifting after install INJEN CAI?

Hi, I had just finish installing a INJEN CAI last night, and when everything was done, after i let it idle for 15 min, i took it for a ride, my shifting has felt different. it feels like theres a cushing when i put it in 1st,3rd,5th. The gear when i pushed up. Anyone know whats wrong? or thats how it is?

I'm wondering why a CAI would have anything to do with the gearbox...

your intake tube is hitting sumthing in the engine bay....move the intake out of the silicone elbow and push it down a little bit...if you look by your maf you will see a piece of metal that when you push it..it changes the gears in the car..not sure what it is but thats what happened with my AEM...so i just pulled the intake pipe a little further down in the elbow and it was fine

Your intake is probably touching the shift linkage on top of the tranny.

Yeah same here. Your CAI is hitting something in the gear box. Make sure to take care of that before you mess yourself up. Alot of members here have the Injen CAI (I do too) and love it. No problems. Hmmmm, I dont think i can tell you anything else

Check the wiring harnesses and see where they're hanging. If you don't tuck them away they can hang down into the bad place.

Ouch, don't touch me there uncle Jimmy.
