drivers window screeches

Well I removed the stupid warning sticker from the driver window and cleand the sticker residue with a razor blade and windex. And now when I roll the window down I don't have a problem but when I roll it up it screeches like a mother f**kn nails on a chalk board and I can't figure out what it is. Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks in advance
luey

most likely left over residue... pull back the rubber thing at the base of the window and clean it with some detergent/old toothbrush. Then clean your window (in/out) again for good measure.
If the detergent does not work, try Goo Gone... works like a charm

well get some window washer and wash it again. Thats weird, i've never heard anything like that. Maybe you can take it to your dealer if it dosnt go away. Hope everything turns out ok for you buddie.

I took it to the dealer so they could check it out but they said I would have to bring it back in the am and leave it all day and I couldn't do theat because I had to work.

it's gonna take the dealership all day long to figure out that it's left over residue from the warning sticker? right. ur honda dealer sux.

i took my sticker off as well and got the same noise. i did gently scrape off the leftover gunk with a razor blade and then applied windex to it and got all of it off.
